Anthracnose Management on Putting Greens in
Primary Recharge Areas

If your golf course is located within the primary recharge area (Zone II or IWPA) of a public drinking water supply well that pumps over 100,000 gallons of water per day you can apply chlorothalonil to manage anthracnose on putting greens only under the following conditions:

there must be no viable alternative to the use of the pesticide

the pesticide is being applied as part of a DAR Approved Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program.

the Department of Agricultural Resources is notified of any applications of a product on the groundwater protection list. Notifications must take place within ten calendar days of the end of the month in which the application/s was/were made. One form can be used for multiple applications that take place in a single month.
