Funding this year for the program, which totaled $365,000, came from three
sources. The Rivers Protection Act funded $200,000, The Executive Office
of Environmental Affairs funded $115,000 and the Coastal Zone Management
agency funded $50,000. Twenty-seven farms installed best management practices
to improve water quality with this funding.
