The Operational Services Division (OSD) achieves best value by using Strategic Sourcing Services Teams (SSST) to ensure that customer needs are met by involving those customers directly in the entire procurement process.  Any purchasing entity, including departments conducting individual or joint procurements, can use the SSST approach.  OSD SSST's are composed of members drawn from departments and eligible public entities that have an interest or expertise in particular commodity and service categories. SSSTs are led by OSD's professional contract managers, known as Strategic Sourcing Services Leads (SSSLs). The member lists, linked from this page, are subject to change and are updated by the Strategic Sourcing Service Lead (SSSL) as new members participation on the teams change. For information on specific teams (SSSTs), team descriptions and team managers (SSSLs) please click on the link under Additional Resources at the right on this page “SSST Member List.”

SSSTs focus significant attention on establishing quality Statewide Contracts that meet customers' needs for commodities and services. Together, they decide how most large procurements will be accomplished and perform activities throughout the life-cycle of the procurement, from identification of need through performance monitoring and assessment. A link to a snapshot of Statewide Contracts  is available through the “Statewide Contract Schedule” under Additional Resources at the right on this page. This list is updated monthly and contains a snapshot of Statewide Contract activity with detailed information available for that same contract on Comm-PASS at www.comm-pass.com .

Contact information and the contract areas managed by Strategic Sourcing Services Leads is linked under Additional Resources through “Contact a SSSL.”
