How to Measure Procurement Success (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM)

Acquiring the tools and services that our organizations need to function (also known as procurement) is an often overlooked and under-appreciated field of endeavor.  Most people in our organizations don’t think about procurement unless they need a supply or service, usually at the last minute. When they don’t get what they need when they need it, they may perceive the procurement process (also known as your work), as a failure.  Would you have this perception as well? Should you?  Procurement professionals may have a different perception; gauging success based on something other than the occasional “unsatisfied customer.” What is your definition of success?  This workshop will discuss the topic of procurement success.  The goal of the workshop is to challenge your perception(s).

Mental Massage is designed to guide you to clarify and set your goals, reduce stress, enhance mind/body balance, and use the power you already have within to achieve your goals. Employing guided visualization and leveraging self-assessment tools, you will leave the workshop equipped with a blueprint for success. Participants will learn: why it is important to check in with yourself periodically as a blueprint for a more satisfied and productive career and life; to identify their true passions and how to achieve their dreams; to enhance their sense of worth as an individual; to recognize and seize the opportunities that are right in front of them every day; to develop the skills to take 100% responsibility for their lives, and to find harmonious balance between mind, body and soul.
