COMMBUYS Drop-In Sessions are Now On-Demand

Have you taken a COMMBUYS course and need additional training? Do you want to sign up for a drop-in session but can’t seem to fit one into your busy schedule? To better serve the public purchasing community, OSD Training is now accepting requests for on-demand drop-in sessions. Drop-in sessions are designed for individuals who have attended COMMBUYS training but would like to receive follow-up, individualized support from one our COMMBUYS trainers. To schedule your individual or small group drop-in session, complete the Buyer On-Site Training Request Form today! Please note that all sessions are scheduled based on our staffing and resources.



Strategic Sourcing Certificate Program (SSCP)

The Strategic Sourcing Certificate Program is designed to identify essential strategic sourcing fundamentals that provide departments with the necessary skill and knowledge to conduct effective procurement on behalf of their agencies. The program is structured in a sequence which enables the learner to build knowledge (component by component) through attending classes which provide a framework of information that provides a complete strategic sourcing picture, the student can effectively use the information on the job. The certificate program consists of five one-day module courses per section. During the year, classes are offered at various locations across the Commonwealth.

Training Snow Day Cancellation Policy
Training will be cancelled if any of the following occur:

  1. Non-essential government workers have been advised to stay home or if the State Office Buildings are closed due to inclement weather.
  2. If the training is conducted in Boston and Boston Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather.
  3. If the public schools where the session is being conducted is closed due to inclement weather.
