On October 17, 2016, Administration and Finance Secretary Kristen Lepore launched the Voluntary Separation Incentive Program to reduce state spending in the Executive Branch. To participate in this program, eligible employees must submit a completed VSIP application to their agency Human Resources Office by Monday, November 14, 2016.
Retirement-eligible participants in VSIP will receive a one-time cash incentive of $15,000 while non-retirement eligible employees will receive $5,000. VSIP is open to Executive Branch employees (with the exception of Department of Children and Families) in all budgetary accounts, including operating, capital, trust, federal and assessed accounts. It is also open to both managers and bargaining unit employees.
Any questions on the program should be directed to the appropriate agency’s Human Resources Office.
