Establishing an Anti-Fraud, Waste and Abuse Task Force
Goals of the Task Force
- To identify potential high-yield targets for collective anti-fraud efforts and to coordinate enforcement efforts
- To formulate standards for best practices among state agencies in identifying and preventing fraud
- To engage in public outreach to encourage the public to report evidence of fraud to a central hotline and to reassure the public of efforts to safeguard integrity of state benefit programs
