Guide for State retirees and survivors, deferred retirees, and former employees who have continued to pay for health coverage through the state's 39-week option or the federal COBRA option, as well as for retirees in participating redevelopment, housing and certain other authorities and planning councils, as well at Retired Municipal Teachers participating in the GIC RMT program. Retirees/Survivors will be mailed the guide to their permanent address by the beginning of annual enrollment. Guide for employees, retirees and survivors of participating and new municipalities. Employees of current municipalities will receive their guide through their benefits office; participating retirees and survivors will receive the guide at their home by the beginning of annual enrollment. New municipal employees, retirees and survivors who are joining as of July 1 will receive the guide through their benefits office by the beginning of open enrollment.
