Active state employees working in the Executive Branch, Constitutional Offices, and the Legislature, and early retirees ages 55 to 64 and their spouses, have an opportunity to improve their health with the GIC’s WellMass pilot program.  To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a GIC health plan.  This program, administered by StayWell Health Management, LLC, provides helpful tools to improve your health and wellbeing:

  • Health Assessments that give you a snapshot of your current health and help guide your future health goals;
  • Online resources to help you set goals, monitor progress, find answers, and stay motivated; and
  • Health coaching by phone, mail, or online to give you tips for eating right, stop smoking, adding exercise to your routine, and relieving stress.  Health coaching is available to eligible participants based on their Health Assessment risks.

 Rewards:  Participants receive incentives for completing certain milestones of this program.
