April Firefighter Marks Released
HRD is pleased to announce the release of the examination marks from the 2010 Entry-Level Firefighter Examination for applicants who took the Written Examination component in April. Candidates can now view their marks in SOARIS under Option 2, and official score letters will follow by mail. Examination marks for applicants who took the Written Examination component in September should follow within the next week.
Please be advised that if you failed the 2010 Entry-Level Firefighter Examination, it is because you did not pass one or both components of the exam (Written Examination and Entry-Level Physical Abilities Test). Please see your official score letter for more details.
Applicants who did not take one or both components of the examination due to military service should contact HRD upon their release from active duty to request a makeup exam. HRD will review a military make up request if it is submitted no later than 6 months upon an applicant's release from active duty.

The marks for the 2010 Entry-Level Firefighter Examination (consisting of the Written Examination and Entry-Level Physical Abilities Test) are slated for release in early-to-mid November. Marks will be mailed to applicants, and will be available in their online account. At this time, HRD is projecting that the eligible list from this examination will be established on or about December 1 st, 2010.

August 21 st, 2010 Entry-Level Physical Abilities Test Cancelled
Due to a scheduling conflict at the Hudson National Guard Armory, the Entry-Level Physical Abilities Test (ELPAT) scheduled for Saturday, August 21 st, has been cancelled. Candidates scheduled on that date have been contacted for rescheduling.
08/06/2010 Update - The LAST DAY TO APPLY for the Entry-Level Physical Abilities Test (ELPAT) Component of the 2010 Firefighter Test is 08/16/2010.
The ELPAT will continue to be administered through September 2010 at the Hudson National Guard Armory.
