MaCS will allow for easier communication and ensure smoother, more timely transactions between Appointing Authorities and their liaisons within the Civil Service Unit.
Through their MaCS account, Appointing Authorities will:
- Submit standard forms and requests electronically, greatly improving speed and security.
- Have secure access to departmental Eligible Lists and certification/referral lists. Notices to appear to sign a certification indicating interest will be sent electronically to candidates on those lists.
- Request Initial-Hire PATs, which will be scheduled electronically.
