Ron Marlow has played a critical role in the efforts to improve the culture of executive branch agencies such that the promotion of non-discrimination, equal opportunity and diversity can be achieved and maintained.  Ron served as a critical partner in the development and implementation of the Commonwealth as a Model Employer of Persons with Disabilities effort.  Ron was also a leader in the development and implementation of the Reasonable Accommodations Capital Reserve Account; a central pool of funds to assist executive agencies in the provision of reasonable accommodations to employees who require them.  He was also a leader in the development and implementation of the ANF Administrative Bulletin #19, the creation of the Universal Access Committee and the preceding and concurrent blueprint that creates a linkage between capital budgeting and working to fulfill the legal requirements of the American with Disabilities Act. These are just a few of the initiatives that Ron has worked tirelessly on in order to promote equal opportunity and diversity throughout the executive branch.
