| Note: In the CEO application, required fields are indicated by an asterisk (*) next to the field. Required fields may vary based on the specific characteristics of the position. |

Making Job Inactive and Resubmitting for approval |
| | If a job poster has submitted a posting, and wants to take the posting back to make edits to it, the job poster (person who created the posting) can make it inactive or rescind it from the reviewers inbox. |
| 1. | Locate posting under Agency Jobs - Active, or Tasks - Pending Approval |
| 2. | Click on the posting ID to open the posting. |
| 3. | Select Make Inactive button |

| 4. | The posting now goes into inactive status. |

| Note: Inactive postings may be edited and resubmitted approval. |

| 5. | To edit the posting, click on Edit Job. |

| 6. | Make necessary modifications. Click on Submit Job to send the job to the next level of review. |

Extending the Application Deadline of a Posting |
| | When a job has been published, the posting deadline can be extended without having to rescind a posting. |
| 1. | Open the desired Job Posting. |
| 2. | Click on New Deadline button to the right in the posting. |

| 3. | Extend a Job's Application Deadline screen will appear. Enter the number of days you want to extend the posting deadline and click Submit (or click cancel to choose not to extend the deadline and to return to the posting). |

Rescinding/Making Changes to Pub lished Job Postings |
| | After a Job Posting has been published to the Internet, no changes can be made to the posting unless it is rescinded from the Internet. Any job poster who has access to post for a particular agency can rescind an agency posting. To rescind a published posting, follow the steps below. |
| 1. | Locate posting under Agency Jobs - Active |
| 2. | Click on the posting ID to open the posting. |
| 3. | Select Rescind Job button. |

| 4. | Job has now been rescinded from the public site. |
| 5. | To edit the posting, click on Edit Job. |
|

| 6. | Make necessary modifications. Click on Submit Job to send the job to the next level of review. |

Claiming and Resubmitting a Disapproved posting |
| | An email notification will be sent to the Job Creator when a job approver has disapproved a job. |
| 1. | Locate posting under Tasks - Disapproved Items |
| 2. | Click on the posting ID to open the posting. |
|

| 3. | Select Edit Job to make changes to the posting. |
| | |

| Note: The Disapprove Reason field will indicate reason that the posting was disapproved. |

| 4. | Make any edits needed to the posting. |
| | |
|

| 5. | Click on Check Spelling to check for spelling errors in the Job Posting. |
| | |
| 6. | Click on the Save Draft button if the posting is incomplete or click on the Submit Job button to submit the posting for further review or click on the Submit and Copy Job button to submit the original posting for further review and create another posting with all the same fields entered in the original posting. If you clicked Save Draft, you can re-access your draft posting by clicking on Edit Job. |

| 7. | Posting Duration: Posting duration will default to 14 days for externally posted positions. For internal only positions, posting duration will default to 10 days. If the duration should be longer than the required period, type the appropriate number of days for the duration of the posting. The posting must remain on the CEO until the posting deadline. The Posting Duration cannot be less than the required period. |

| 8. | Defer Publication of Job Until: If the position should NOT be posted immediately, type the date on which it should be posted using the MM-DD-YYYY format. Otherwise, leave this field with date listed. |

| 9. | Submit: Click on Submit to submit the posting for review or click on the Cancel button to return to the Job Posting. |
