Training for Executive Branch personnel is only provided after the agency has developed and disseminated a Policy of Zero Tolerance for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in the Workplace, designated a Workplace Safety Team, and designated a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault and Stalking Prevention Coordinator. Training is provided to senior managers and supervisors first followed by training to employees. In accordance with Executive Order #491, the Human Resources Division, in coordination with a state-wide faculty of trained experts from the Executive Branch agencies has established a core curriculum to serve as the foundation of all training delivery initiatives. Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault and Stalking Awareness training delivery sessions are work based and include a number of interactive exercises, such as case studies, role plays and videos.
