ODG is a business partner with Executive Branch agencies working with them to assist in attracting top talent in a timely fashion, while maintaining our classification and compensation system. ODG is driving the technology and programs that allows for our customers to recruit, retain, recognize, evaluate, and manage a diverse, engaged and high performing workforce. ODG provides a public face to our customers through dedicated customer service, as well as strong communications, through vehicles such as programmatic e-bulletins and the publication of the HR Advantage.

  • Works primarily with state agencies in the following areas:
  • Hiring Processes (NOA, NIH, Tax and Background Checks, Flags)
  • HR/CMS Position Management (Establish and Modify Positions, Correction Mode/Job Data)
  • Job Classification and the Essential Functions Study
  • Salary Administration Rules (Gray Book) and Management Compensation
  • Performance Appraisal Systems (ACES and EPRS)
  • Leave and other (Family Friendly) Benefits (Red Book)
  • Outplacement Activities
  • Alternative Work Options Programs (Worklife Issues)
  • Performance Recognition Program
