Project Details:
Installation of two 1.65 MW Vestas V82 Wind Turbines is ongoing at the North Central Correctional Institution in Gardner (NCCI Gardner). NCCI Gardner is located on twenty acres of hillside near the Gardner/Westminster town line.
The Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM), The Department of Correction (DOC), and NCCI Gardner are dedicated to renewable energy and are pleased that these wind turbines will offset electrical use at the site and provide additional electricity to the grid.
