The project will provide new laboratories, classrooms, offices and support space for the biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, geography, math and computer science departments. Construction includes a 170,000 SF addition to the existing Marshall Conant Science Building, demolition of 60,000 SF of outdated space, and 40,000 SF of renovations.

  • Reuse of roof storm runoff and HVAC coil condensate for a gray water system to flush toilet fixtures
  • Building façade with rain screen technology
  • Lab spaces with compressed air, lab vacuum, natural gas and purified water (RODI) depending on particular function of the lab
