This project was initiated in response to the closure of the existing library building due to structural issues. The goal of the project is to construct a new Library and Learning Commons on the North Campus of 122,000 GSF that will replace the University's library facilities and consolidate student services. The Learning Commons includes a number of academic support services independent of the main library functions.
