DCAMM has established a CAD Standards Manual pdf format of cad-standards-manual-13-02.pdf file size 4MB to ensure consistent and standardized identification and representation of drawing data provided by architects, designers, and consultants. All new projects documented on CAD systems will be required to use these standards. The CAD Standards Manual complies with AIA Architectural Graphic Standards and the National CAD Standard, and includes additional features reflecting the particular needs of DCAMM. The CAD Standards Manual is supplemented with a digitally formatted standard project cover sheet, drawing list sheet, and discipline sheet which are also required to be used. A "seed file", when loaded on the consultants' computers, will facilitate use of the DCAMM CAD standards by setting CAD data layers, line codes, and color codes to those specified by DCAMM. A file of CAD pen settings, called a CTB file, is also provided.
