The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance's (DCAMM's) Office of Facilities Management and Maintenance (OFMM), Massachusetts Facilities Management Association (MAFMA) coordinates training opportunities for facilities personnel throughout the Commonwealth.

MAFMA University

We are again enrolling students for MAFMA University which runs from Sept 2012 to April 2013. In these tight fiscal times, this is an excellent opportunity for you to "hone your skills" and/or assist your staff. And for MAFMA members there is no charge to your agency or facility.

Please find a listing of courses being offered pdf format of mafma-u-classes-12-13
for both the Supervisor and the Masters Sessions. To receive certification, you must complete all the courses as detailed in the curriculum list. You will receive credit for any of these courses previously completed within the last three years.

To receive a registration form, please send an email directly to francis.tagan@state.ma.us listing the agency, name of the student, the student's title. Upon approval, you will be sent an official registration form, directions and updates on future sessions.

Please respond ASAP to ensure a space for you and/or your staff.

Please contact Tom Tagan for further information. Francis.Tagan@state.ma.us MAFMA members are encouraged to notify The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance about training programs that they recommend or which appear to be worth pursuing. Send information about potential training programs to: Alana.Swiec@state.ma.us or Susan.Kreusch@state.ma.us
