At The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) we support state government agencies and the people they serve by providing expertise and innovative solutions in the delivery of strategic integrated facilities management, construction, and real estate services.

Construction Procurement Law

This workshop will provide an overview of what you should know about procuring construction, renovation, maintenance and repair services for public buildings. Topics will include: bidding thresholds and processes, bonding, emergency waivers, prevailing wage, MBE/WBE participation, accessibility issues and useful resources to help public procurement officials and bidders alike insure they are in compliance with legal requirements and avoid bid challenges or protests. Workshops will clarify the proper use of OSD's Tradesperson Contract (FAC70).

Integrated Facilities Management 
& Accelerated Energy Program

DCAMM is tasked by the Patrick-Murray Administration to transform policies, procedures, and practices related to facilities management and maintenance. In this workshop we will present information about the vision and supporting organization structure for Integrated Facility Management (IFM). We'll share our planning and collaboration with agencies on IFM, describe our current partnerships to manage facilities and tell how we are going about bringing additional facilities into DCAMM's management over the next few years. DCAMM will also present information on our Accelerated Energy Program and how it will assist you in reaching your energy and water conservation goals.

Semi-Annual Meeting

The MAFMA Semi Annual Meeting Agenda will feature:

 

  • Key note speaker Charles D. McCrea who will share insight on Change Management best practices. This presentation will focus on how we experience change personally and organizationally. It will help put into context the realignment and changes currently underway and how members might use their past experiences and new skills to best navigate those changes.
  • Guidelines to ensure your building and facilities are accessible to all will  be presented.
  • General updates to DCAMM programs will be presented e.g. the Accelerated Energy Program,  Deferred Maintenance.
