DCAMM issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase and redevelopment of this property located at 40 Thorndike Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This property, the former Edward J. Sullivan (EJS) Courthouse, consists of a 22-story high rise building with a mezzanine and three (3) basement levels on approximately 1.37 acres of land. A proposal by LMP GP Holdings LLC, a joint venture between Leggat McCall Properties, LLC and Granite Properties, Inc. was selected by DCAMM to purchase and redevelop the property for a base purchase price of $33 million.
This project is in the permitting phase. Construction will begin when permits are all obtained.
