Proposed regulation on state authorities transparency and accountability

The purpose of 801 CMR 53.00 is to carry out G.L. c. 29, § 29K by ensuring accountability and transparency for state authorities.

The proposed new regulation (which succeeds an expired emergency regulation adopted in July 2011) implements a new statute, G.L. c. 29, §29K, proposed and signed by Governor Patrick in the FY12 budget, which requires A&F to adopt regulations governing accountability and transparency for state authorities.
