Such recognition at the highest levels of government is an important component in ensuring all Americans have the opportunity to learn more about cyber security and how to safeguard themselves from cyber-based threats.

  • Awareness Event

    On Wednesday, October 10, 2012, ITD hosted a Cyber Security Awareness Event at the Gardner Auditorium in the State House.  According to all accounts, the Seminar was a HUGE success.  Participants were engaged and asking questions throughout the day.  Even better: our security team felt that attendees came away from the event really taking to heart the importance of password complexity, role-based access, monitoring, and securing BYOD (among other topics).  Thanks to Kevin Burns, Tim Guerriero, and the entire security team for their hard work in making the event such a great success!
