The Portal Advisory Board gathers together individuals in leadership positions who are integral to setting high-level communication and business strategy for their organizations. The purpose of the Portal Advisory Board is to:

  • Advise Mass.Gov on strategy, policy and priorities and serve as a forum to advocate for specific Mass.Gov improvements;
  • Serve as a vehicle for Mass.Gov to keep customers up to date on major Mass.Gov initiatives;
  • Serve as a vehicle for agencies to keep each other and Mass.Gov up to date on major e-Gov initiatives, and as a forum for agencies to identify common interests and opportunities for collaboration.

Members of the Board from the Executive Department are expected to further the Administration's goal of increased adoption of Mass.Gov, and using the web to increase civic engagement, improve service to citizens, and decrease the cost of government, through strong leadership within the Executive Offices or Agencies they represent.
