MassGIS staff are advised by the Massachusetts Geographic Information Council (MGIC). MGIC’s role is to enable coordination of GIS activity in the Commonwealth, to identify opportunities for collaboration, particularly collaboration involving data development, and to advise MassGIS on priorities.

MGIC Members

Complete list of the MGIC current members, who advise MassGIS staff and assist in coordinating GIS activity in the Commonwealth. MGIC includes representatives from federal, state, regional, and local government agencies.

MGIC Meetings

MGIC meetings include discussions by its members on the coordination of GIS activity in the commonwealth and often feature speaker presentations on a variety of GIS-related topics. Meeting minutes and presentation files are posted as available.
