Massachusetts Legislative History is one of the most common types of research the staff assists with at the State Library. The library has a wealth of materials to help with this kind of research.
The State Library has an extensive collection of Massachusetts law resources, including statutes and legislative materials, administrative law and judicial reports.
- Federal law resources, including statutes, administrative law (The Code of Federal Regulations & The Federal Register), and case law (decisions of the Supreme Court & Circuit Courts of Appeal). Most resources are available electronically and in paper at the State Library.
