Ken Woodland began his career with the Office of State Auditor in 1985 and has extensive experience in all aspects of government auditing. Before he became the Deputy Auditor for Audit Operations, Ken served for two years as an Assistant Deputy Auditor for Audit Operations, and before that, he worked for over 23 years in OSA’s Contract Audit Division, ultimately serving as its Director.
Ken graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts—Amherst and received his Master of Business Administration degree from Bentley University. He is a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Management Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Government Financial Manager.
He serves on the Executive Committee of the New England Intergovernmental Audit Forum, the Membership Committee of the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers, and he is an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Association of Government Accountants.
