This multi-year project is expected to complete in FY'11 and is a partnership with ITD and HHS to upgrade the current HHS data network and voice/telephony systems to a state of the art converged voice and data network. HHS currently has 256 offices at 197 physical locations across the Commonwealth. Voice communications is currently provisioned by individual voice solution (47 Centrex sites and 208 PBXs) by office, encompassing 73 different vendor solutions. These will all be replaced by a single network infrastructure that will provide high quality and cost effective service.
