Budgetary Retained Revenues

The Massachusetts rehabilitation commission is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the provision of expanded independent living services from revenues collected from federal reimbursements; provided, that notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the commission may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate therefor as reported in the state accounting system

The Massachusetts rehabilitation commission is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the provision of rehabilitation services for head injured persons from fines collected pursuant to section 20 of chapter 90 of the General Laws; provided, that funds appropriated herein shall not be used to supplant existing services funded by item 4120-6000
