Division of Fire Services Assessments
SECTION 412.
Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, 100 per cent of the amount appropriated in item 8324-0000 of section 2 of this act, including the associated indirect costs and fringe benefits of the programs provided for therein, shall be assessed to insurance companies writing fire, homeowner's multiple peril, or commercial multiple peril policies on property situated in the commonwealth. Said companies shall pay said assessments within 30 days after receiving notice from the commissioner of insurance of the amounts due from them.
