For matching grants to be administered by the department of education for the Massachusetts service alliance, so called, for public and private agencies with mentoring programs for the recruitment and training of mentors and for other supporting services including, but not limited to, academic support services; provided, that no funds shall be disbursed from this item to support a mentor relationship established in a prior fiscal year; and provided further, that in order to be eligible to receive funds from this item, such public or private agency shall provide a matching amount equal to $1 for every dollar disbursed from this item |
