 Chief Medical Examiner Fee Retained Revenue  
   8000-0122   The office of the chief medical examiner is hereby authorized to expend for the operation of the office an amount not to exceed $1,000,000 from fees for services provided by said office; provided, that notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary, for the purposes of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the office may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system 1,000,000
