 Transfer of Former County Lands to Environmental Affairs
SECTION 139.
The commissioner of the division of capital asset management and maintenance, with the written approval of the secretary for administration and finance, and after consultation with the secretary of environmental affairs, may transfer to one or more agencies within the executive office of environmental affairs the use of, and responsibility for maintenance of, dams, ponds, lakes, other natural resources, and lands acquired for open space, conservation, and public access, together with any buildings, structures, and equipment thereon, which the commonwealth acquired from abolished counties pursuant to chapter 34B of the General Laws or pursuant to other relevant provisions of law.
