For matching grants for various school-to-work programs; provided, that the board of education shall establish guidelines for such programs in consultation with the department of workforce development; provided further, that any funds distributed from this item to cities, towns, or regional school districts shall be deposited with the treasurer of such city, town, or regional school district and held in a separate account and shall be expended by the school committee of such city, town, or regional school district without further appropriation, notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary; provided further, that each grant awarded herein shall be matched by the recipient from local, federal, or private funds; and provided further, that the board of education may determine the percentage match required on an individual grant basis |
