Health and Human Services      Office of Children, Youth, and Family Services          Department of Transitional Assistance Account Description FY06 GAA FY07 House 2   Employment Services Program      4401-1000   For employment and training services, including support services, for recipients of benefits provided under the transitional aid to families with dependent children program and the absent parents of said recipients; provided, that funds from this item may be expended on former recipients of said program for up to one year after termination of their benefits; provided further, that certain parents who have not yet reached the age of 18 years, including those who are ineligible for transitional aid to families with dependent children and who would qualify for benefits under the provisions of chapter 118 of the General Laws but for the deeming of the grandparents' income, shall be eligible to receive said services; and provided further, that funds from this item may be expended for self-sufficiency activities for recipients of benefits under chapter 117A of the General Laws 21,047,902 31,087,733       Consolidated with 1599-4408 and 1599-6901 and increased funding due to welfare reform.
