7035-0007 Non-Resident Pupil Transport
For reimbursements to cities, towns, regional vocational or county agricultural school districts, independent vocational schools, or collaboratives for certain expenditures for transportation of non-resident pupils to any approved vocational-technical program of any regional or county agricultural school district, city, town, independent school or collaborative pursuant to section 8A of chapter 74 of the General Laws; provided, that upon receipt by the department of education of required transportation cost reports, the department shall reimburse no more than 50 per cent of the total cost certified by the department; provided further, that the reports shall meet criteria established by the department; and provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commonwealth's obligation shall not exceed the amount appropriated in this item
