DIVISION OF FIRE PREVENTION - ADMINISTRATION
8360-0100 For the fire prevention program; provided, that one 424,608
hundred and sixteen thousand dollars shall be assessed
against insurance companies licensed to sell fire
insurance in the commonwealth by the commissioner of
insurance, and transferred to the General Fund, and
such assessments shall be charged to the normal
operating costs of each company; provided further, that
the expenses of the board of fire prevention
regulations, pursuant to section fourteen of chapter
twenty-two of the General Laws, shall be paid from this
item; and provided further, that the expenses of the
fire safety commission shall be paid from this item .

MASSACHUSETTS FIREFIGHTING ACADEMY SERVICES AND OPERATIONS
8360-0200 For the fire training program including the 2,809,560
Massachusetts fire training council, certification
program, municipal and non-municipal fire training, and
the expenses of the council; provided further, that the
funds necessary to support this item shall be paid to
the commonwealth by insurance companies writing fire,
homeowners multiple peril, or commercial multiple peril
policies on property situated in the commonwealth
within thirty days after notice from the commissioner
of estimated expenses
