SUPREME JUDICIAL COURT
0300-0000 For the service and operations of the supreme judicial 13,025,485
court, the commission on judicial conduct, the board of
bar examiners, the mental health legal advisors
committee, the social law library located in Suffolk
county, the clerk for Suffolk county, and for legal
representation to indigent or otherwise disadvantaged
residents of the commonwealth, provided through the
Massachusetts legal assistance corporation and for
correctional legal services; provided, that the first
paragraph of section nine of chapter two hundred and
twenty-one A of the General Laws shall not apply to
Massachusetts legal assistance corporation programs
funded by this item; provided further, that said
corporation may contract with an organization for the
purpose of providing representation under said
programs; and provided further, that said corporation
shall expend not less than six hundred and thirty-two
thousand and one hundred twenty dollars for a battered
women's legal assistance project
