| 4513-1012 | WIC Program Manufacturer Rebates Retained Revenue The department of public health may expend for the purpose of increasing the caseload of the Women, Infants, and Children's Nutrition Program an amount not to exceed $24,600,000 in revenues received from federal cost-containment initiatives, including, but not limited to, infant formula rebates; provided, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate therefor as reported in the state accounting system |
