| 3000-4050 | TANF Related Child Care For financial assistance for families currently involved with or transitioning from Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) to enroll in an early education and care program; provided, that early education and care shall be available to former participants who are working for up to 1 year after termination of their TANF benefits; provided further, that all early education and care providers which are part of a public school system shall be required to accept vouchers funded by this item; provided further, that the department may provide early education and care benefits to parents who are under 18 years of age, who are currently enrolled in a job training program, and who would qualify for benefits under chapter 118 of the General Laws but for the deeming of the grandparents' income; and provided further, that the department may provide early education and care benefits to certain other former TANF recipients who are participating in education or training in compliance with regulations from the department of transitional assistance |
