Allen Cooper arraigned on drug charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  35 year old ALLEN J. COOPER (16 Hall Place) appeared before Judge John Agostini.

COOPER had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF HEROIN, one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE and two (2) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS.  Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance.    

It is alleged that COOPER sold heroin on July 13, 2011 and cocaine on August 3, 2011and conspired with others to sell the drugs on the same date.    

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
