Bailey arraigned on drug charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  22 year old MICHAEL A. BAILEY, JR. a/k/a MIKE A. BAILEY, JR. (42 Brown Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini.

BAILEY had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE, one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF MARIJUANA and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: DISTRIBUTION OF MARIJUANA.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail. 

It is alleged that BAILEY sold cocaine and marijuana and conspired with others to sell marijuana in Pittsfield on December 1, 2011. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
