Boone placed on probation on a conspiracy charge

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to a conspiracy charge.  36 year old DERRICK O. BOONE appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

BOONE pleaded guilty to one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE.  Judge Agostini placed him on 2 years probation on the condition BOONE refrain from using drugs and undergo testing during the probationary period. 

BOONE conspired with others to sell cocaine between December 23, 2009 and March 5, 2010.   

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, North Adams, Dalton, Lee, Lenox, West Stockbridge and Sheffield Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
