Christopher White arraigned on B&E charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  23 year old CHRISTOPHER M. WHITE (28 Stratford Avenue) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

WHITE had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on six (6) counts of BREAKING AND ENTERING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, one (1) count of BREAKING AND ENTERING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, PLACING A PERSON IN FEAR, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of LARCENY OF A FIREARM, two (2) counts of MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OVER $250, two (2) counts of VANDALIZE PROPERTY, six (6) counts of LARCENY FROM A BUILDING, one (1) count of LARCENY OVER $250 and one (1) count of COMMON AND NOTORIOUS THIEF.  Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance on the condition WHITE have no contact with the alleged victims.    

It is alleged that WHITE broke into houses in Hancock, Hinsdale, Richmond, Dalton and Washington between September 7, 2011 and January 30, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Hinsdale and Dalton Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the Lee barracks.
