Gamari arraigned on sexual assault charges

A Clarksburg man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on sexual assault charges.  19 year old NOLAN R. GAMARI (1094 River Road) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

GAMARI had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on six (6) counts of RAPE AND ABUSE OF A CHILD: NO FORCE, one (1) count of INDECENT ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A CHILD UNDER 14 and one (1) count of ENTICING A CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 16.  Judge Agostini set bail at $5,000 on the condition GAMARI not have any direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim or her family and close his Facebook account.    

The charges stem from an incident in Clarksburg on February 12, 2012 and allegedly involved a 13 year old girl. 

The investigation was conducted by state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
