Hunter enters not guilty pleas on drug charges
A Springfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 51 year old MARK L. HUNTER (103 Monrovia Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
HUNTER had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense), one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE, one (1) count of OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of NUMBER PLATE VIOLATION. Judge Agostini released him on $2,500 bail.
The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Lee on January 27, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Lee Police Department.
