Jaclyn Carnevale placed on probation
A Pittsfield woman pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges. 29 year old JACLYN CARNEVALE appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
CARNEVALE pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF OXYCONTIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: DISTRIBUTION OF OXYCONTIN. Judge Ford gave her a 2 year suspended sentence to the Berkshire County House of Correction and placed CARNEVALE on 1 year probation.
CARNEVALE possessed oxycontin with the intent to sell on March 3, 2010 and conspired with others to sell oxycontin between December 23, 2009 and March 5, 2010.
One (1) count of POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force, including state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Pittsfield, Adams, North Adams, Dalton, Lee, Lenox, Williamstown, Lanesborough, Great Barrington and Stockbridge Police Departments, federal investigators from the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
