Nicholson arraigned on a drug charge

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge.  23 year old JAMEL L. NICHOLSON (265 Bradford Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

NICHOLSON had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE.  Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance. 

It is alleged that NICHOLSON sold cocaine in Pittsfield on November 30, 2011. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
