Taylor pleads guilty, sentencing on March 27th

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  52 year old MICHAEL A. TAYLOR a/k/a MICHAEL TAYLOR, MICHAEL ANTHONY TAYLOR, DEMONT PAGE, DERRICK AIMS, TEDDY AIMS and JAMAAL appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

TAYLOR pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and two (2) counts of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE.  Judge Agostini released him on $10,000 bail pending sentencing which will occur on Tuesday, March 27th at 9 a.m.    

The incidents occurred in Pittsfield on June 15, 2010. 

Three (3) counts of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE (2nd offense) and three (3) counts of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, Dalton, North Adams and Lee Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
